Records overview

Records is the shared database of people, companies, and product-specific interests in your workspace. Channels and lists do not create separate copies of this core information. They provide different ways to distribute or work with the underlying records.

Record types

Records are not channels or lists

  • A record stores information.
  • A channel controls how eligible interests are distributed in Markets.
  • A list organizes records for a team process in Company Platform.
The same person can therefore appear in Records and in one or more operational contexts without becoming a different person.

Find and inspect records

Use Records in the sidebar to open:
  • Persons for contact and consent information
  • Interests for product, qualification, quality, and routing state

Open a record to inspect its related interests, activity, assignments, and transactions.

When to use Records

Use Records when you need to:
  • find everything known about a person or company
  • inspect all interests regardless of channel or list
  • correct shared contact information
  • investigate potential duplicates
  • understand the history behind a delivery
